A Wedding Planner

A wedding planner? For me it was more important than the flowers. I did my flowers myself, book please, in order to pay for my wedding planner. A young lady from the south who just started in a business who did a great job with her assisant husband which I thought was sweet added touch... So moving right along,a wedding planner can do the following things for you. He or she can plan on hourly basis. It is great to have one to scout your sites or find the best vendors your day. If you having a hard time finding "the dress", this person can assist you with that task. The day of special. The day of special, when the planner comes in at the end, looks at your wedding, may offer suggestion. Then together, you come up with schedule for the day and then you turn over to the professional the last couple of weeks. The person will help with the reherseral and make sure everything runs smoothly.....Or the whole wedding from planning to implementation.... The price. The price can run from $50 an hour to up a percentage of the wedding day. The average for day of service is $400-$1000. The key to the budget is find someone who needs the experience. You may then get a price break.... When to search for your wedding planner? As soon as you say I do to the proposal, start to search for your planner.. Q and A time. You want to find out how many wedding they have planned. How many wedding they plan each year(the average is 40). Overall wedding phiolosphy. If they belive a green philosophy when you are in the Gilded Age, may not work for you. No flower power ring, huh?...

It is a great source of information as well many supportive girls going through the same process as you.

Wedding Hair

So we have wedding hair which most people leave to the last minute. I hate it because what was the point of wearing this great dress and now your hair looks like a mess on your great day.... So find the dress and make a decesion on the formality of your day.... So base on the dress and formality look at weddinghair.com..... Or a bridal magazine is a great source for wedding options... After you made hair decesion, find a stylist, beauty school is better than nothing.. Take your veil, hair pieces, and a picture of your gown with you. Then take the time 3 months for something simple, 5 months if you need a cut and color for everyone including you to get used to the new look.... Day of get your hair done unless you have a simple cut or look or a wig. You may can get away with it the day before your big day....

wedding nails...

I love get my nails done. It is only time when I can really chill out besides sleep and not hear my child with his many requests for the day.... For wedding nails, I do like to keep it classic and simple.... a neutral nail...a pastel...or even a classic red especially for a nightime affair.... Try out the color and the person a couple of months before the big day. Then early morning or a couple of hours before your event, get your nails done.... Enjoy the experience.... Best rule, color on the toes with a neutral nail for the most formal event...

The Sandcake...

So I am sittting here at a recpetion, the cake sucks. The baker who is not baker cannot make a cookie let alone a cake. The wonderfully decorated creation to say the least is dry, is lumpy inside.... So for all those brides who want to bake, there is the sandcake....sandwich that taste like cake... step one three slices of bread, step two a fruit filling..apple or blueberries or blackberries....or even jam...., step three an light glaze on top or the fruit filling..., step four slice in half...or give a fourth to each guest... For a few dollars, it is a moment...
